Assembly of steel structure and housing
DESCRIPTION OF COMPLETED WORKS
We began work on the construction of the technological connector on the premises of the Volkswagen Poznań sp. z o.o. production plant in August 2019 during foundation work (see {Volkswagen Poznań Foundations}. As the reinforced concrete work progressed, we began installing the steel structure of the connector.
The scope of the order included:
– opening of the facade of the active warehouse hall H44,
– opening of the facade of the active production hall H3,
– installation of the steel structure of the connector – including the span over the active plant road within 48h of delivery downtime,
– installation of external stairs,
– installation of substructures for replacement of smoke dampers,
– installation of external ladder,
– installation of fall protection nets,
– installation of Cofrastra-type sheets,
– installation of trapezoidal sheet,
– installation of the façade of sandwich panels in a vertical arrangement,
– connection of the façade of the newly built connector with the existing halls
– tightening and completing the façade of the existing halls
The installation work was completed in January 2020. LEANCO’s 16 employees were involved in the implementation.
