Fire and thermal insulation of smoke extraction shafts

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK PERFORMED

The project for the work of insulating the smoke ventilation shaft at 39 Towarowa Street for Ataner started in January 2020. The building had two smoke ventilation shafts, which started in the parking hall at level -2 and ended on the roof of the 3-story building. The work involved the studding of Roockwool mineral wool panels to the surface of the smoke ventilation shaft and the sinking of fireproof mesh to a total height of more than 30m. The fireproof Rockwool product additionally provided thermal insulation for the building’s neighboring surfaces of the smoke hood.

The work was completed in February 2020, with 5 LEANCO employees involved in the implementation.
